I see a man who is a scientist with a light bulb for a head. This man has his arms crossed, which makes him look more professional, and the light bulb in place of his head makes it look like he has an idea. I see the the man in focus, while the light bulb is not but this was not done intentionally. I had a lot of trouble with trying to have some light on the light bulb, since the picture was shot from an angle, from the top to bottom instead of straight across. This meant that the light bulb needed to be higher up, making it harder to light it correctly (especially since our assignment was not to photoshop the object on the picture but instead have it in place of the head, during the photoshoot). Since I was concentrating on having the lighbulb lit, I did not pay attention to whether it was in focus or not. When I was editing the picture I had to even out the light in the lightbulb and I realized that, this would have been a harder process if the bulb had been in focus because since it is blurred, the color can be easily evened out. This picture has a serious mood to it because the background is completely black, and the man has his arms crossed. It seems like he has a very important idea. I think that my picture was successful because i was able to replace someones head with an object, not by photoshop, but by having someone hold it during the photo shoot.
